i am learning to be more intentional with my life and i am quitting instagram and i think this could be a fun way to have my own little place to write about my yapping and things i think about everything. any proper article i write will also have a copy on somewhere else, i don't know yet. so far i've had a lot of delight in browsing peoples' pages that they obviously put so much hard work into. i'm so proud of y'all! i can't wait to be a part of this newish thing. well, i used to do neocities, but i was kind of a different person back then and i had kind of forgotten about all of this, but i am ready to come back.
as far as actual content, i plan to write reviews of media i like, rants about theology and the Bible and God (he's great!), personal reflections on society, and maybe some tech stuff if i am forced to care by circumstance. oh and don't worry, this won't turn into anything homophobic or transphobic. i am part of an idea/movement (if it's classified as that i don't know) called inclusive orthodoxy, which is basically a bunch of lgbt people and allies who are committed to preserving the Good News while also being okay with lgbt people living and loving as ourselves. (this is a good bluesky post to get the general vibe for people who don't understand any of what i am saying).
i named this trailed visions mainly because i have spent all this time chasing Revelation (not exclusively the Bible book but the concept of all things true being revealed. i get dreams sometimes and i follow them like a trail and i think it is important to treat visions and dreams as source of guidance because if that wasn't true would Moses have lead the Israelites out of the desert? would Jesus even be named that? no! so in a way, i am doing it to set the tone as not something necessarily oppositional to modern suspicion but as something alternative to work towards. i do not define anything negatively, that brings us nowhere but death in the same way that Satan (negative, down) is defined in opposite to God (positive, up).
